What draws you to a sketch blog?

What draws you to this blog?

Do you ever share your discovery of this site with your friends?

Would you be more apt to share your creations, if there were prizes involved?

How do you feel about the fact that these sketches are hand drawn, as opposed to computer generated?

Hope I can help :)

Whenever I find time to follow a sketch that I find on any blog or website I post it to my blog and link back to the original sketch. If I find that I am particularly inspired by a sketcher and go back to them repeatedly then I will tell all of my scrappy friends that it's a good resource.

Prizes are always fun to get of course, but I will judge a challenge blog by how much the sketches or challenges inspire me to create. I participate regularly in blogs that do and some that do not offer prizes.

It doesn't affect me one way or the other whether your sketches are hand drawn or computer generated. When they are busier sketches, sometimes digitally created sketches are easier to make sense of and therefore are less intimidating looking.

I am drawn to sketch blogs. I am a sketch-a-holic. LOL!

I do like when a prize is offered but it isn't a must.

I do share blogs and sites with others when I go to crops and with my online MD sb group.

It doesn't matter to me if the sketch is hand drawn or computer generated. If it just has to be a sketch that inspires me to create.

Pretty much ditto what earlier people said about finding a sketch that inspires me. My local crop group and my online groups know that I'm on the sketch team for this, its in my profile on sb.com.

I'm not concerned about prizes (not that I would ever turn one down, lol), and it doesn't matter to me how the sketches are actually created.

What draws you to a sketch blog? If the sketches appeal to me.

What draws you to this blog? The layouts that are created based on the sketch.

Do you ever share your discovery of this site with your friends? Once in a while, not too often.

Would you be more apt to share your creations, if there were prizes involved? Prizes are nice but I don't base my shareness on them. I'm in a scrapping slump the past few months with too many things to do and too little time. I usually pick up the beginning of summer.

How do you feel about the fact that these sketches are hand drawn, as opposed to computer generated? It doesn't affect me one way or the other.

I like this site for so many reasons, one of which is that you give photo dimension. I like that so I don't have to guess or pull out the ruler and figure it out. Doesn't bother me in the least that the sketches are hand drawn. I don't care about prizes or challenges, generally. I love that you show various examples of the sketch.

I love sketches, period. They speed me up while scrapping and I love to see other people's creations for inspiration. Prizes are fabulous, but I will obviously read a blog and participate even if there is no prize. I don't care if sketches are hand drawn or computer generated.

Let's see ~ I subscribe to any sketch site I find. I love sketches.

Some things I like about yours are that they usually have multiple photos involved. I really don't care much for single photo sketches, even though they are very helpful when I have one photo to showcase.

I also like that you include examples.

If don't get around to scrapping much, but if I was to I'd definitely include the sketch link w/ my layout.

Prizes are always a fun incentive, but not necessary for me.

For the hand drawn, I really like your sketches. I don't prefer one over the other, but yours are very neat & easy to understand.

Thanks so much for doing this!

I love this sketch blog because I know that every Monday there will be a new one. I have posted a lot about this blog in several of my Cafe mom groups. I follow this blog because it is personal with the hand drawn sketches (its like someone takes the time and a sheet of paper to think of great things). Like others have said I also like the sizes so that you aren't left guessing, and love the examples of the design team to see the sketch in action. I my opinion this is just a great site!!

Sketches I can use. There are a lot of sketch sites out there, but if I don't use them, I tend not to go back. It's that simple.

What draws you to this blog?
I love the two-page sketches, plus the fact that they are multi-photo sketches. My one-page layouts are very rare.

Do you ever share your discovery of this site with your friends?
I will say what sketch site I used for my layouts when posting them. Or at least I try.

Would you be more apt to share your creations, if there were prizes involved?
Prizes certainly help. LOL. But I'm actually pretty motivated by comments. If people comment on my creations, I am more likely to keep posting.

How do you feel about the fact that these sketches are hand drawn, as opposed to computer generated?
As long as they are clear (and yours are), neither format is better.

Thanks for the sketches!

I love sketches. It saves me time because I don't have to worry about how to arrange my pictures or what size to print/crop them to.

I love this blog in particular because I am an event scrapper, and you have a lot of 2-page, multi-photo sketches.

Do you ever share your discovery of this site with your friends? -- YES!

Would you be more apt to share your creations, if there were prizes involved? -- definitely. I will still use your sketches even if there are no prizes involved, but I usually don't take the time to share my work unless there is a prize. (I only share a small portion of my work.)

I don't mind the hand-drawn part one bit, but there has been the rare occasion when your measurements were a little off, and when I cropped my pictures to the stated size, and it didn't look like your drawing. (Not criticizing, just trying to give you honest feedback)

I really do enjoy your sketches and am a frequent visitor! Thank you for the inspiration!

I love sketches! I love the fact that you are not swayed to do something, it is an open road to do what you wish with your project. I love YOUR sketches, Shawn! You aleaday know that, that is why I keep coming back! I do tell everyone about this blog. I have it in my signatures on messages boards that I am on. I already do your sketches, but yes, prizes would be nice! ;o) I could care less that they are hand drawn as opposed to computer generated. They are gorgeous! Thanks for the opportunity to tell you what we like/dislike! Keep up the great blog! Love it!

I believe this is the first time I've visited here and must say I am happy with it and am sure to return. I saw the link on someone's blog and followed it here.
I love the idea of using a sketch when I am ready to create a layout - that's one of the hardest jobs when creating something pleasing to the eye, so if I find a sketch that appeals to me the hardest part is taken care of.
Hand drawn is super! It actually seems more artistic to me. Sometimes computer generated can make it appear more limiting in the creative department. But, either is fine if the overall sketch appeals to me.
If prizes are offered I am not influenced because I scrap for me, not for a prize. However, it's always fun when a prize is possible but not an attraction.

Do you ever share your discovery of this site with your friends?
I posted the blinkie on my blog and have pointed a few people here.

Would you be more apt to share your creations, if there were prizes involved?
Possibly but not necessarily... I scrap for fun and share when I can... I don't always scrap current sketches so don't do too many deadline scrapping things... which is usually how prizes are involved

How do you feel about the fact that these sketches are hand drawn, as opposed to computer generated?
I love your hand-drawn sketches... they have a character all of there own... and I can spot them a mile away!
